Referral queues allow services to manage work for people against the steps in a pathway.

Each referral is listed in the queue based on:

  1. Allocation of the referral to the step in the queue.
  2. How old the referral is, based on business days.

Managing work allocation

The queues provide an easy way for users to see what work they need to do for each step. If a user has locked the referral, a padlock shows in the referral list to clearly mark the referral.

Simply see outstanding tasks

Referral lists show quickly where there are outstanding tasks to perform. A clip board with the number of outstanding tasks appears against each referral.
