Future of health and social care

Dr Shanil Mantri, Chief Clinical Information Officer for BANES, Swindon and Wiltshire CCG/ICS, will be giving an overview of the current challenges facing the health and social care sector and how the newly formed ICS plan to address them.

Cllr Rob Appleyard, Former Cabinet Member for Adults Services and Chair of the Health and Wellbeing Board, Bath and North East Somerset Council, will discuss what the council has learned from increased partnership working and how bringing health and social care providers, the local authority and third sector organisations together can improve people’s lives.

Simon Allen, CEO of Age UK Bath and North East Somerset, brings a wealth of skills and understanding of the health and social care sector. Simon has worked in the NHS, local authority and now leads a key third sector organisation. Simon is passionate about integrating care and building trusted, effective relationships across organisational boundaries.
