Paul Targett, RIVIAM's MD, is recognised as a 'health tech hero' during COVID-19
20 April 2020
Thank you to Health Tech News for recognising our MD, Paul Targett, as a 'health tech hero'.
The commendation is for his, and our team's, great work in creating the technology infrastructure and customising RIVIAM's Wellbeing Service for the new Compassionate Community hub in Bath and North East Somerset.
We are working with partners Virgin Care, BaNES Council and 3SG (who are co-ordinating the efforts of local third sector groups and volunteers) to set up and run the hub so vulnerable people in BaNES can access the help they needing during the COVID-19 pandemic.
This is what HTN says:
“Paul has worked tirelessly over the last few weeks, day and night, weekdays and weekends, to set up a new call centre and Compassionate Community Hub for vulnerable people in Bath and North East Somerset during COVID-19. He’s brought in all the tech infrastructure and the telephony and, within one week, the hub (which is managed by Virgin Care, BaNES council and 3SG) was up and running, receiving calls from people who need help. In the next week, all the requests will be managed and co-ordinated online using RIVIAM and it’s a brilliant example of healthcare, social care and 3rd sector all working together to help people using digital tools.”
